Adelbodner mineral water originates from the Schwandfeldspitz. The rain that does not flow off the surface penetrates into the infiltration zone. The water works its way through the different rock formations for around seven to ten years until it meets the source at the earth's surface. On its journey the water slowly enriches itself with important minerals such as calcium, magnesium and sulphate. The water automatically reaches the ground surface through the natural pressure of impermeable layers. The spring is therefore an artesian well.
